This article will help you troubleshoot why your credit card or bank (eCheck) has been declined.
Common Reasons for Credit Card decline:
- Incorrect card number, expiration date or security code
- Incorrect billing address
- Make sure you're entering the same address you have on file with your credit card institution
- Amount has surpassed your daily spend limit.
- Call your card to have them temporarily raise your limit for the purchase.
- You've met your credit limit
Common reasons for Bank / eCheck decline:
- Incorrect routing and/or account number
- Incorrect billing address
- Make sure you're entering the same address you have on file with your credit card institution
- Non-US Bank Institution
- Insufficient funds in your account
- Some banks do not allow savings accounts to be used, if this is the case with yours, try using a checking account instead.
